Rat Aromatase (ARO) ELISA Kit

Aromatase (CYP19A1) is the cytochrome P450 enzyme responsible for converting androgens into estrogens, and quantifying its expression in rat models is central to research in reproductive endocrinology, neuroendocrine signaling, and steroidogenesis. The Assay Genie Rat Aromatase (ARO) ELISA Kit provides a microplate-based immunoassay for measuring this enzyme in rat samples, with materials supplied for 96 separate determinations per kit.

The kit ships with a pre-coated microplate, recombinant aromatase standards, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, TMB substrate, stop solution, and concentrated wash buffer. Components should be stored at 4 °C and protected from light; the conjugate and substrate are particularly light-sensitive. Each strip-well configuration supports flexible sample loading, and the chromogenic reaction produces a measurable absorbance signal on a standard microplate reader. A standard curve is generated from a serial dilution series to enable quantification across the working range.
