Rat Aquaporin 5 (AQP5) ELISA Kit

A colorimetric ELISA kit from Assay Genie for quantitative measurement of Aquaporin 5 (AQP5), a membrane water channel protein of approximately 30 kDa. AQP5 localizes to the apical plasma membrane of epithelial cells in salivary glands, lacrimal glands, sweat glands, and lung airway epithelium, where it mediates transcellular water movement and supports fluid secretion.

This assay is validated specifically for rat samples and is supplied in a 96-assay kit configuration. Tissue homogenates are the primary specimen type accepted by the assay, with detection performed via a standard ELISA plate reader.
