Rat Aquaporin 2, Collecting Duct (AQP2) ELISA Kit

A quantitative immunoassay from Assay Genie that measures Aquaporin 2 (AQP2) levels in rat tissue homogenates and cell lysates. AQP2 is a vasopressin-regulated water channel localized to the apical membrane of renal collecting duct principal cells, where it governs final-stage urine concentration. Researchers use this kit to investigate collecting duct physiology, polyuria-polydipsia phenotypes, and models of nephrogenic diabetes insipidus. Each kit provides reagents sufficient for 96 individual determinations on pre-coated microplate wells. The assay is intended for research use only. Results are commonly normalized to total protein content of the homogenate.
