Rat Apolipoprotein C2 (APOC2) ELISA Kit

Quantitative measurement of apolipoprotein C2 in rat samples is now possible with this 96-assay ELISA microplate kit from Assay Genie. APOC2 is a small apolipoprotein that circulates on the surface of triglyceride-rich lipoproteins, where it functions as the obligate cofactor for lipoprotein lipase, the enzyme that hydrolyzes circulating triglycerides. Accurate APOC2 quantification in experimental rat models therefore supports research into hypertriglyceridemia, atherosclerosis, metabolic syndrome, and plasma lipid clearance.

The kit accommodates a wide panel of biological matrices including serum, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and cell culture supernatants, and works for both in vivo and in vitro experimental designs.
