Rat APEX Nuclease 1 (APEX1) ELISA Kit

The Rat APEX Nuclease 1 (APEX1) ELISA Kit from Assay Genie enables quantitative measurement of APEX1, also called APE1, a 35.5 kDa dual-function enzyme central to DNA base excision repair and to redox regulation of transcription factors such as NF-κB, AP-1, and HIF-1α. The kit supports protein detection in rat tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and conditioned media, enabling studies of oxidative stress response, cancer progression, neurodegeneration, and inflammatory pathways where APEX1 expression and redox status are biologically meaningful.

Each kit is supplied with a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized reference standards, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, substrate solution, stop reagent, wash buffer, and a printed protocol. Researchers add standards and unknown samples to coated wells, apply the detection antibody, and develop signal through an enzyme-substrate chromogenic reaction read on a standard plate reader.
