The Rat Apelin PharmaGenie ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is a competitive immunoassay built around a pre-coated microplate that delivers 96 reactions per kit and provides all reagents necessary to quantify endogenous apelin peptide in rat-derived samples. The kit relies on a competition step in which free apelin in the sample competes with a labelled apelin conjugate for binding to capture antibody immobilised on the plate, allowing indirect measurement of peptide concentration through the resulting colour signal.
