Rat AP-1 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA (Double Antibody) kit provides a colorimetric assay for measuring AP-1 levels in rat samples with high sensitivity and specificity. The kit accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and uses a TMB substrate workflow with absorbance read at 450 nm.

Reported performance figures from the manufacturer include a sensitivity of 4.688 ng/mL and a working range of 7.813–500 ng/mL. Linearity was demonstrated at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma (n=5 each). Spike-recovery averages were 97% for serum, 96% for EDTA plasma, and 95% for heparin plasma (n=5 each). Kit components are intended for storage at 2–8°C for 12 months.

The protocol uses a biotin-labelled detection antibody with HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) chemistry, including primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes and sequential detection and color development steps. AP-1 is a transcription factor implicated in gene expression, cell growth, and differentiation, supporting research use in molecular biology, pharmacology, and toxicology.
