Annexin A5 (ANXA5) is a calcium-dependent phospholipid-binding protein that associates with phosphatidylserine residues on the outer leaflet of apoptotic cell membranes, and quantifying its circulating concentration in rat models supports research into programmed cell death, cardiovascular pathology, placental dysfunction, and inflammation-driven organ injury. This colorimetric immunoassay from Assay Genie enables quantitative detection of rat ANXA5 in rat-derived research samples.

Each kit contains a pre-coated microplate, recombinant rat ANXA5 standard, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, wash buffer, substrate solution, and stop reagent — sufficient for one full plate run in duplicate. Signal is captured on a standard microplate reader, with well absorbance proportional to ANXA5 concentration.
