Rat anti-cyclic citrullinated peptide antibody/ACCPA ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA is designed for the quantitative determination of anti-cyclic citrullinated peptide antibodies (ACCPA) in rat samples, supporting research into autoimmune conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, where anti-CCP antibodies are recognised biomarkers of disease severity and progression.

The assay uses a double antigen sandwich format with colorimetric detection. It accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, with a stated sensitivity of 0.938 ng/mL and a measuring range of 1.563-100 ng/mL. The kit should be stored sealed at 2-8°C and not cryopreserved.

Validated performance includes recovery in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma matrices with averages of 93%, 91% and 95% respectively, and linearity across the 1:2 to 1:8 dilution range. The workflow involves primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled antigen binding, HRP-streptavidin binding, TMB colour development, and absorbance reading at 450 nm.
