Description
A quantitative immunoassay from Assay Genie designed for the accurate measurement of ANP Converting Enzyme levels in rat serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The kit is manufactured using a sandwich ELISA, double antibody format, with a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and a working range of 15.625-1000 pg/mL.
ANP Converting Enzyme is a key enzyme involved in the regulation of ANP levels, which play a critical role in the regulation of blood pressure and fluid balance. The kit supports research into cardiovascular health and disease, with dysregulation of the enzyme linked to various cardiovascular conditions. Linearity is reported across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma, and recovery averages 98% for serum, 91% for EDTA plasma, and 96% for heparin plasma.
The protocol begins with reagent and TMB substrate equilibration to room temperature, followed by primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes. Biotin-labeled detection antibody is then applied for 60 minutes, followed by HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) binding for 30 minutes. After TMB color development in the dark for 10-20 minutes, the reaction is stopped and absorbance is read at 450 nm. The kit should be stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.
