Rat Amyloid Precursor Protein (APP) ELISA Kit

The Assay Genie Rat Amyloid Precursor Protein (APP) ELISA Kit supports neuroscience and Alzheimer's disease research by quantifying APP, a transmembrane glycoprotein implicated in amyloid beta generation. The assay is specific for rat APP and detects multiple isoforms including APP695, which predominates in neurons, as well as APP751 and APP770, which are more abundant in peripheral tissues. Researchers commonly use this plate-based immunoassay to investigate APP processing, secretase cleavage activity, and downstream amyloid pathology in rat brain, cortex, and hippocampus tissue homogenates.
