Rat AMY1/Alpha-amylase ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of rat Alpha-Amylase (AMY1) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, with reactivity limited to rat. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method (absorbance read at 450 nm) in a double-antibody sandwich format, with a stated sensitivity of 0.938 ng/mL and a working range of 1.563-100 ng/mL.

Validated performance shows linearity at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 of 90-100%, 84-94% and 82-93% respectively for serum; 85-99%, 83-96% and 83-100% for EDTA plasma; and 94-104%, 86-99% and 84-100% for heparin plasma. Recovery ranges were 86-99% (average 93%) for serum, 90-104% (average 97%) for EDTA plasma, and 87-102% (average 95%) for heparin plasma.
