Rat Alpha-2-HS-glycoprotein/Ahsg ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit offers a quantitative colorimetric method for measuring Alpha-2-HS-glycoprotein (AHSG) in rat samples. The assay is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. AHSG is a multifunctional glycoprotein implicated in regulating mineral metabolism, inflammation, and insulin sensitivity, and its dysregulation has been associated with diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and kidney disorders, making it a useful biomarker for rat model research.

Using a double-antibody sandwich format, the kit achieves a sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL across a working range of 78.125-5000 pg/mL. Linearity has been demonstrated for serum (91-103% at 1:2, 82-100% at 1:4, 82-99% at 1:8), EDTA plasma (93-102%, 85-101%, 84-91%), and heparin plasma (89-100%, 85-100%, 80-97%). Spike-and-recovery performance is 85-95% in serum (average 91%), 87-102% in EDTA plasma (average 94%), and 85-102% in heparin plasma (average 96%).
