Rat Alpha-1-Antitrypsin (a1AT) ELISA Kit

Alpha-1-antitrypsin is a 52 kDa serine protease inhibitor synthesized chiefly by hepatocytes that protects lung tissue from neutrophil elastase-mediated damage, and circulating levels are widely used as a marker of acute-phase inflammatory status, hepatic synthetic function, and experimental models of emphysema, hepatitis, and pancreatitis in rats.

The kit supplies reagents sufficient for 96 assays in a microplate format and is intended for research use only, supporting in vitro studies of inflammation, liver injury, and protease-antiprotease balance in rodent models.
