Rat Aldosterone (ALD) ELISA Kit

Engineered by Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of aldosterone in rat samples, the Rat Aldosterone (ALD) ELISA Kit is validated for serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants, with additional sample-preparation procedures for urine, cerebrospinal fluid, cell lysates, tissue homogenates, tissue lysates, and breast milk. Aldosterone is a key hormone responsible for regulating electrolyte balance and blood pressure, and quantifying it with this kit supports research into cardiovascular and renal pathophysiology.

The assay uses a competitive immunoreaction read at 450 nm with a measurement range of 0.39-25 ng/mL. Reagents include a dismountable microplate, lyophilised standard, sample diluent, assay diluents A and B, detection reagents A and B, wash buffer, substrate, and stop solution. The microplate, standard, diluents, and detection reagents are stored at -20°C; wash buffer, substrate, and stop solution are stored at 4°C.

The workflow adds standards, blanks, or samples with detection reagent to the coated wells, incubates at 37°C, washes, develops with substrate, and reads the optical density. The product is supplied for research use only.
