Rat Adrenomedullin ELISA Kit

The Assay Genie Rat Adrenomedullin ELISA Kit is a sandwich, double-antibody immunoassay intended for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate and other liquid samples. The assay employs a colorimetric detection method with absorbance read at 450 nm after addition of stop solution.

Adrenomedullin is a regulatory peptide involved in cardiovascular function, vasodilation and blood pressure regulation, and is studied as a biomarker in hypertension, heart failure and sepsis. The kit offers a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and an assay range of 15.625-1000 pg/mL, supporting quantitative measurement of adrenomedullin in rat-derived samples.

Reported linearity (n=5) spans 81-105% for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions. Reported recovery (n=5) ranges are 87-104% for serum (average 97%), 85-104% for EDTA plasma (average 95%) and 85-102% for heparin plasma (average 95%). Kit components are stored at 2-8°C, and the kit is stable for 12 months under recommended conditions.
