Rat ADORA2A/Adenosine Receptor A2a protein ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of Adenosine Receptor A2a (ADORA2A) in rat samples using a double-antibody format with colorimetric detection. The kit supports research into ADORA2A's role in inflammation, immune response and neurotransmission, and into its dysregulation in cancer, autoimmune disorders and neurodegenerative disease.

Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions was demonstrated in serum (88-103%, 95-104%, 90-98%), EDTA plasma (84-91%, 82-98%, 85-97%) and heparin plasma (81-98%, 88-98%, 83-100%), with mean recoveries of 94% from serum, 95% from EDTA plasma and 90% from heparin plasma.

The procedure involves equilibrating reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature, incubating standards and samples on the pre-coated plate at 37°C for 90 minutes, adding biotin-labelled detection antibody for 60 minutes, then HRP-Streptavidin for 30 minutes. After TMB development in the dark for 10-20 minutes, stop solution is added and absorbance measured at 450 nm.
