Rat Activin A ELISA Kit

Designed for the precise measurement of activin A levels in rat samples, this Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie supports research into a key signalling molecule involved in cell growth, differentiation and apoptosis. The assay accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and uses a colorimetric double-antibody format with absorbance read at 450 nm following TMB substrate development.

Reported performance includes a sensitivity of 37.5 pg/mL and an assay range of 62.5–4000 pg/mL. Linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions is reported at 87–105% for serum (n = 5), 88–105% for EDTA plasma (n = 5) and 94–105% for heparin plasma (n = 5). Recovery is given as 88–102% (serum, average 96%), 88–104% (EDTA plasma, average 96%) and 86–100% (heparin plasma, average 92%).
