Rat ABCA13 (ATP Binding Cassette Transporter A13) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of ATP-binding cassette transporter A13 (ABCA13) in rat samples. It employs a double-antibody sandwich format and is intended for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

The kit has a reported sensitivity of 28.125 pg/mL and a working range of 46.875-3000 pg/mL. Storage is at 2-8°C for 12 months. The assay procedure involves equilibrating reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature, followed by primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotinylated detection antibody binding at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-streptavidin (SABC) binding at 37°C for 30 minutes, TMB color development in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and measurement of absorbance at 450 nm. Serum is clotted and centrifuged at 1000 × g for 20 minutes; plasma is collected in anticoagulant tubes and centrifuged at 1000 × g for 15 minutes at 2-8°C; cell culture supernatant is centrifuged at 2500 rpm for 5 minutes. Linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions is reported as 85-98%, 84-99% and 80-86% for serum, 85-103%, 84-97% and 82-95% for EDTA plasma, and 88-99%, 85-101% and 87-96% for heparin plasma (n = 5). Recovery ranges are 86-104% (average 97%) for serum, 90-104% (average 99%) for EDTA plasma and 92-100% (average 97%) for heparin plasma (n = 5).
