Rabbit Troponin T Type 2, Cardiac (TNNT2) ELISA Kit

The Assay Genie cardiac troponin T (TNNT2) ELISA is a quantitative immunoassay intended for research use only, enabling laboratories to measure circulating cTnT concentrations in specimens collected from rabbit cardiovascular models. Cardiac troponin T is a thin-filament regulatory protein encoded by the TNNT2 gene, and the cardiac isoform is a recognized biomarker of cardiomyocyte injury in translational studies of myocardial infarction, ischemia-reperfusion damage, and drug-induced cardiotoxicity.

Supplied as a 96-assay kit with pre-coated microplate wells and all buffers required to perform the assay on a standard plate reader, the protocol uses a colorimetric readout based on standard ELISA signal development. The procedure follows a standard workflow of incubation, washing, and absorbance measurement. Because the antibody reagents are raised against the rabbit TNNT2 protein, the kit is intended for work in rabbit models and results should not be extrapolated to other species without separate validation.

The kit supports in vitro quantification of cTnT in rabbit serum or plasma samples and in tissue-culture supernatant collected during cardiovascular research. It is intended for research applications only and is not approved for human diagnostic use.
