Rabbit TNF alpha ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a Sandwich ELISA kit designed for the precise measurement of TNF-alpha levels in rabbit serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Using a colorimetric double-antibody sandwich method, the kit is intended for research on TNF-alpha, a cytokine involved in inflammation, immune response, and cell death regulation, and which has been implicated in autoimmune disorders, inflammatory diseases, and cancer.

Key performance specifications include a sensitivity of 4.688 pg/mL and an assay range of 7.813-500 pg/mL. The procedure involves a primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, detection antibody binding at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin binding at 37°C for 30 minutes, TMB color development in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and a stop reaction with absorbance measured at 450 nm. Reagents should be stored at 2-8°C for up to 12 months.

Linearity (n=5) across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions was 88-98%, 92-99% and 81-91% for serum; 86-104%, 82-95% and 81-96% for EDTA plasma; and 86-105%, 90-101% and 80-98% for heparin plasma. Recovery (n=5) was 85-105% (average 94%) for serum, 93-103% (average 97%) for EDTA plasma, and 90-102% (average 96%) for heparin plasma.
