From Assay Genie, this Rabbit TIMP4 ELISA Kit is a sandwich double-antibody immunoassay designed for the quantitative measurement of Tissue Inhibitor of Metalloproteinases 4 (TIMP4) in rabbit serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The colorimetric assay uses a pre-coated plate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm following addition of stop solution. The protocol proceeds through reagent and plate equilibration, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labeled detection antibody binding for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin binding for 30 minutes, and TMB color development in the dark for 10–20 minutes. Reagents should be stored at 2-8°C, with stability maintained for 12 months.

Sensitivity is reported at 46.875 pg/mL with an assay range of 78.125-5000 pg/mL. Linearity across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions shows serum recovery of 95-101%, 87-102%, and 97-104%; EDTA plasma of 86-98%, 84-100%, and 82-100%; and heparin plasma of 84-98%, 91-99%, and 81-99%. Spike-and-recovery averages are 95% for serum, 94% for EDTA plasma, and 98% for heparin plasma, with ranges of 88-101%, 86-98%, and 93-102% respectively.
