Rabbit TIMP3 ELISA Kit

A high-quality sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for the precise measurement of TIMP3 (Tissue Inhibitor of Metalloproteinases 3) in rabbit samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method in a double-antibody sandwich format, with a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a measurement range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. TIMP3 is a key regulator of matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) and plays a critical role in tissue remodelling, inflammation, and angiogenesis, with its dysregulation implicated in cancer, cardiovascular disorders, and arthritis. The kit should be stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

The protocol involves equilibrating reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature, loading standards, samples and controls on the pre-coated plate, and incubating at 37°C for 90 minutes. A biotin-labelled detection antibody is added for a 60-minute incubation, followed by HRP-streptavidin (SABC) for 30 minutes, TMB colour development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after stop solution addition. Linearity has been validated at 86–105% for serum, 84–96% for EDTA plasma and 87–99% for heparin plasma across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilution factors, with average recovery of 96% in serum, 97% in EDTA plasma and 98% in heparin plasma.
