Rabbit Thrombin ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA (Double Antibody) kit from Assay Genie designed to quantify thrombin in rabbit samples. Thrombin is described as a key enzyme in the blood clotting cascade, playing a crucial role in hemostasis and thrombosis, with dysregulation implicated in venous thromboembolism and cardiovascular disorders.

The kit is validated for rabbit reactivity and accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Reported sensitivity is 0.938 ng/mL with a measuring range of 1.563-100 ng/mL. Detection is colorimetric and reagents are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

Linearity across dilutions (n=5) is reported at 88-102% / 85-99% / 80-95% for serum, 88-98% / 87-99% / 81-94% for EDTA plasma, and 87-101% / 83-101% / 85-99% for heparin plasma at the 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions respectively. Spike-and-recovery values are 85-105% (average 94%) in serum, 85-104% (average 95%) in EDTA plasma, and 87-102% (average 96%) in heparin plasma.
