Rabbit TGF-beta 1/Transforming Growth Factor Beta1 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a Sandwich ELISA, Double Antibody kit for the quantitative measurement of TGF-Beta 1 in rabbit samples. Designed for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, the kit provides a reported sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and an assay range of 31.25-2000 pg/mL. Detection is colorimetric, with absorbance read at 450 nm following TMB substrate development.

TGF-Beta 1 is a key cytokine involved in regulating cell growth, differentiation, and immune response, and plays a critical role in biological processes including tissue repair, inflammation, and fibrosis. Dysregulation has been linked to cancer, fibrotic disorders, and autoimmune conditions, supporting its use as a biomarker in disease research. Reported linearity values across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions span 93-104% to 85-100% for serum (n = 5), 85-102% to 80-97% for EDTA plasma (n = 5), and 92-105% to 88-99% for heparin plasma (n = 5). Reported recovery ranges are 85-99% (average 94%) for serum, 89-93% (average 92%) for EDTA plasma, and 93-97% (average 94%) for heparin plasma.

The kit is stored at 2-8°C for 12 months and includes a dismountable ELISA microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labeled antibody (100X), HRP-streptavidin conjugate (SABC, 100X), TMB substrate, sample dilution buffer, antibody dilution buffer, SABC dilution buffer, stop solution, wash buffer (25X), preprocess agents A and B, plate sealer and a technical manual.
