Rabbit sICAM-1/Soluble Intercellular Adhesion Molecule-1 ELISA Kit

Designed for the quantitative measurement of soluble intercellular adhesion molecule-1 (sICAM-1) in rabbit specimens, this Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie uses a double-antibody format with colorimetric detection. It is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

Spike-and-recovery testing produced an average recovery of 97% in serum (range 91–103%, n=5), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 85–95%, n=5) and 97% in heparin plasma (range 92–103%, n=5). The kit is intended for storage at 2–8°C for 12 months.

The workflow involves equilibrating reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody binding at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-streptavidin binding for 30 minutes, TMB substrate colour development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and a stop reaction with absorbance read at 450 nm.
