Reported recovery ranges are 87-104% for serum (average 97%), 88-98% for EDTA plasma (average 91%), and 92-105% for heparin plasma (average 98%). The procedure involves a primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labeled detection antibody binding, HRP-Streptavidin conjugation, TMB substrate color development, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm.
