Rabbit Resistin ELISA Kit

This colorimetric immunoassay from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of resistin in rabbit samples. The kit uses a sandwich ELISA format with double-antibody detection and is suitable for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

The assay has a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and a measurable range of 15.625–1000 pg/mL. Reported linearity falls between 84% and 104% across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions, while recovery ranges from 87% to 105% with averages of 98% (serum), 95% (EDTA plasma), and 94% (heparin plasma). Resistin is recognised by the antibody pair under the UniProt accession E3P734 and is also known by the synonyms RETN, ADSF, Adipose tissue-specific secretory factor, HXCP1, RETN1, and RSTNXCP1.

Unopened kits are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months. The workflow involves a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, a 60-minute biotin-labelled detection antibody step, a 30-minute HRP-streptavidin binding step, TMB colour development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and a final absorbance read at 450 nm after adding the stop solution.
