A research-use-only immunoassay from Assay Genie, this Rabbit PPARg ELISA Kit enables quantitative measurement of Peroxisome Proliferator Activated Receptor Gamma in rabbit-derived specimens through a colorimetric workflow. PPARg is a ligand-activated nuclear receptor and master transcriptional regulator of adipogenesis, lipid storage, and insulin sensitivity, and altered expression of this receptor is implicated in obesity, type 2 diabetes, atherosclerosis, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, and chronic inflammatory conditions.

This kit is configured in a standard microplate layout for batch processing of standards and unknown samples, and all reagents, buffers, and the pre-coated plate required to complete the run are supplied within the box. It is intended for research use only and is not validated for clinical diagnostic applications.

The assay accepts multiple biological starting materials, including whole-blood derived fractions, freshly prepared or archived tissue homogenates from adipose, hepatic, or muscular origin, solubilized cell lysates, and conditioned media from cultured rabbit cell lines. This flexibility allows researchers to compare PPARg expression across multiple tissue compartments within the same experimental cohort, supporting studies of metabolic regulation in rabbit model systems.

Investigations supported by this kit include characterization of thiazolidinedione-class pharmacological agents and other PPARg agonists or antagonists, evaluation of receptor modulation under dietary or genetic intervention, and time-course studies of adipocyte differentiation in vitro. The assay produces a colorimetric read-out compatible with standard laboratory microplate readers, and quantitative results are derived from a standard curve generated with the reference material supplied in the kit.
