Rabbit Lectin Like Oxidized Low Density Lipoprotein Receptor 1 (LOX1) ELISA Kit

This colorimetric enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay kit from Assay Genie is configured for 96 individual determinations and is used to quantify lectin-like oxidized low-density lipoprotein receptor 1 (LOX-1) in rabbit specimens. LOX-1, the protein product of the OLR1 gene, functions as a class E scavenger receptor expressed on vascular endothelial cells, macrophages, and smooth muscle cells; it binds oxidized low-density lipoprotein and advanced glycation end products and is implicated in foam cell formation, plaque progression, and vascular remodeling. The kit supports quantitative work in rabbit models of atherosclerosis, hyperlipidemia, and cardiovascular injury, where circulating LOX-1 is tracked as a marker of endothelial activation. Reagents are supplied on a microplate and processed with a standard plate reader against the included standard curve for absolute concentration readout.
