Rabbit IL-6 ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA with double-antibody format from Assay Genie, developed for the quantitative measurement of rabbit interleukin-6 (IL-6). It is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid sample types.

The kit provides a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and a working range of 15.625-1000 pg/mL, with absorbance read at 450 nm. Linearity across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions is reported at 85-97%, 86-101%, and 85-101% in serum; 90-99%, 82-101%, and 88-100% in EDTA plasma; and 87-100%, 80-91%, and 82-100% in heparin plasma. Recovery ranges span 86-102% in serum (average 94%), 88-101% in EDTA plasma (average 93%), and 86-102% in heparin plasma (average 92%).

The workflow includes reagent and plate preparation, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody incubation at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-streptavidin binding at 37°C for 30 minutes, TMB substrate development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and stop solution addition prior to absorbance reading. Components are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.
