The Assay Genie Rabbit IL-21 PharmaGenie ELISA Kit provides quantitative measurement of interleukin-21 in rabbit specimens through a two-antibody capture immunoassay. Interleukin-21 is a pleiotropic cytokine produced primarily by CD4+ T helper cells and natural killer T cells, with documented roles in B-cell maturation, immunoglobulin class switching, germinal center maintenance, and the differentiation of Th17 and follicular helper T populations. Accurate quantification in rabbit models is therefore useful in vaccine immunology, transplant rejection studies, autoimmune disease research, and infectious disease work where the rabbit serves as a relevant preclinical species.

The assay covers a detection range of 31.25 to 2000 pg/mL, with a sensitivity below 10 pg/mL, allowing reliable measurement across low and moderate cytokine concentrations.
