Rabbit IgA/Immunoglobulin A ELISA Kit

The assay uses a double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection: standards or samples are captured on a pre-coated plate, bound by a biotin-labeled detection antibody, and revealed with HRP-streptavidin and TMB substrate for absorbance reading at 450 nm.

Reported performance includes a sensitivity of 0.281 ng/mL and a measurable range of 0.469–30 ng/mL. The kit has been validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Linearity in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions falls between 80% and 104%, and spike-and-recovery across the same matrices ranges from 91% to 105% with averages of 96% (serum), 96% (EDTA plasma) and 93% (heparin plasma).

The workflow involves equilibrating reagents and the TMB substrate to room temperature, loading standards, samples and a zero control onto the pre-coated plate, and incubating at 37 °C for 90 minutes for antigen binding, followed by 60 minutes with biotinylated detection antibody, 30 minutes with HRP-streptavidin, and 10–20 minutes of TMB development in the dark before stop solution and immediate absorbance measurement at 450 nm. Unopened kit components are stored at 2–8 °C for up to 12 months.
