Rabbit IFABP/FABP2 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit uses a double-antibody format with colorimetric detection to measure intestinal fatty acid-binding protein (IFABP, also known as FABP2) in rabbit samples. The assay employs a pre-coated microplate, biotin-labeled detection antibody, HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm after a stop solution is added. IFABP/FABP2 is a key protein involved in intestinal fatty acid transport, lipid metabolism and absorption, and abnormal levels have been associated with various gastrointestinal disorders, making it an important biomarker in intestinal health research.

Recovery (n=5) is 85-103% in serum (average 93%), 85-103% in EDTA plasma (average 92%) and 87-105% in heparin plasma (average 95%). Linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions is 85-102%, 85-103% and 86-105% for serum, 84-94%, 82-99% and 85-96% for EDTA plasma, and 86-96%, 86-94% and 84-99% for heparin plasma.
