Rabbit Haptoglobin ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this colorimetric Sandwich ELISA Kit is intended for the quantitative measurement of Rabbit Haptoglobin in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. It is a research use only product based on a double antibody sandwich detection method, with highly specific antibodies pre-coated onto a microtiter plate.

The assay covers a working range of 62.5-4000ng/ml with a sensitivity of < 37.5ng/ml. The workflow uses a biotin-labelled detection antibody and an HRP-Streptavidin conjugate (SABC) with TMB substrate; after addition of stop solution, absorbance is measured at 450nm. The kit is shipped on ice packs and should be stored at 2-8°C for 6 months, with the expiry date indicated on the kit label.

Acceptable sample types include serum and plasma. Serum should be clotted and centrifuged, while plasma should be collected using EDTA or heparin as an anticoagulant and centrifuged at 4°C for 15 minutes at 1000 × g within 30 minutes of collection. Hemolysed samples are not suitable for this assay.
