Rabbit GMCSF/CSF2/Granulocyte Macrophage Colony Stimulating Factor 2 ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor 2 (GM-CSF/CSF2) in rabbit samples. The assay uses a double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection and is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. GM-CSF is a key cytokine that regulates the production and function of white blood cells, including granulocytes and macrophages, and its dysregulation has been implicated in inflammatory, autoimmune, and cancer-related conditions, making it a useful biomarker in immunological research.

Reported performance characteristics from the manufacturer include a sensitivity of 4.688 pg/mL and an assay range of 7.813–500 pg/mL. Linearity has been demonstrated in serum (85–101% at 1:2, 82–101% at 1:4, 89–100% at 1:8; n=5), EDTA plasma (84–93%, 82–99%, 84–98%; n=5) and heparin plasma (87–103%, 85–103%, 86–96%; n=5). Spike-and-recovery testing showed average recoveries of 95% in serum (range 85–98%), 93% in EDTA plasma (range 87–101%) and 96% in heparin plasma (range 88–104%). The procedure involves incubation at 37°C followed by addition of TMB substrate and absorbance reading at 450 nm, with all components stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.
