Description
A Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie configured as a double-antibody assay for the quantitative detection of Rabbit FLT3 (Receptor-type tyrosine-protein kinase FLT3) in rabbit samples. Compatible sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate and other liquid samples, and detection is colorimetric using a TMB substrate read at 450 nm. FLT3 is described as a key protein in hematopoietic cell growth and differentiation, with dysregulated signalling linked to acute myeloid leukaemia (AML) and other haematological malignancies.
Manufacturer-quoted performance figures: sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and a standard curve range of 31.25-2000 pg/mL. Linearity (n=5) at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions: serum 84-100%, 89-101% and 87-101%; EDTA plasma 84-96%, 89-97% and 82-100%; heparin plasma 82-97%, 85-98% and 92-101%. Spike-and-recovery averages are 94% for serum (range 87-101%), 99% for EDTA plasma (range 86-103%) and 96% for heparin plasma (range 92-104%). Kits are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.
The assay workflow comprises reagent and TMB equilibration to room temperature; primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes; a 60-minute biotin-labelled detection antibody step; 30 minutes with HRP-Streptavidin (SABC); TMB colour development in the dark for 10-20 minutes; and absorbance measurement at 450 nm immediately after adding the stop solution.
