Rabbit Fetuin A/AHSG ELISA Kit

The assay is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and uses a colorimetric TMB-based detection method with absorbance read at 450 nm. Fetuin A — also known as Alpha-2-HS-glycoprotein, A2HS, AHS, FETUA, and alpha-2-Z-globulin — is a multifunctional glycoprotein involved in regulating insulin sensitivity, inflammation, and bone mineralization, with dysregulation linked to diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, and liver disorders.

The kit offers a sensitivity of 7.5 ng/mL and a working range of 12.5–800 ng/mL, and should be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months. Reported linearity across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions spans 80–104% (serum), 83–101% (EDTA plasma), and 81–103% (heparin plasma). Spike-and-recovery ranges average 95% in serum, 94% in EDTA plasma, and 99% in heparin plasma. The double-antibody sandwich workflow uses a biotin-labelled detection antibody, HRP-streptavidin (SABC), and TMB substrate, with a stop solution added before absorbance is measured at 450 nm.
