Rabbit eNOS/Nitric oxide synthase, endothelial ELISA Kit

Designed by Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit (double antibody) provides a colorimetric method for the quantitative detection of endothelial nitric oxide synthase (eNOS) in rabbit samples. The kit is reactive with rabbit and accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid sample types. eNOS is described as a key enzyme involved in the production of nitric oxide, a signaling molecule relevant to blood flow regulation, vascular tone, and immune response, with dysregulation implicated in cardiovascular disorders, hypertension, and endothelial dysfunction.

The assay reports a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and an assay range of 15.625-1000 pg/mL. Reported recovery averages are 97% for serum, 96% for EDTA plasma, and 94% for heparin plasma, with linearity ranges across serial dilutions (1:2, 1:4, 1:8) of 90-104% to 83-98% for serum, 90-102% to 82-94% for EDTA plasma, and 88-103% to 80-96% for heparin plasma. The procedure involves primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody incubation at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) binding at 37°C for 30 minutes, TMB colour development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after stop solution addition. Storage is recommended at 2-8°C for 12 months.
