The kit is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Linearity at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions (n = 5) was 89-101%, 91-105%, and 85-103% for serum; 86-98%, 86-96%, and 82-98% for EDTA plasma; and 83-100%, 89-99%, and 81-95% for heparin plasma. The colorimetric assay uses a TMB substrate with absorbance read at 450 nm. Reagents are stored at 2-8°C and the kit is stable for 12 months.
