Rabbit CRP ELISA Kit

Designed by Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of C-Reactive Protein (CRP) in rabbit samples, this Sandwich ELISA kit is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Detection relies on an HRP-conjugated antibody and a colorimetric TMB reaction, with absorbance read at 450 nm (a 650 nm reference wavelength may also be applied) to quantify CRP levels. The kit is supplied in a solid phase format and includes validated Bradford Reagent for total protein normalisation.

Performance characteristics established by the manufacturer include a sensitivity of 0.469 pg/mL and an assay range of 0.781-50 pg/mL. Linearity has been verified across serum (86-104% at 1:2, 98-105% at 1:4, 91-103% at 1:8), EDTA plasma (82-101%, 97-101%, 86-101%) and heparin plasma (82-87%, 91-98%, 80-100%). Spike-and-recovery values average 96% in serum, 98% in EDTA plasma and 97% in heparin plasma.

Unopened components are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months. The target protein corresponds to UniProt entry P02742 and is also known as PTX1 or Pentraxin 1.
