Rabbit C5a/Complement C5a ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a sandwich, double-antibody ELISA designed for the quantitative measurement of Complement Component 5a (C5a) in rabbit samples. The format uses a pre-coated capture antibody on the plate, a biotin-labelled detection antibody, and HRP-Streptavidin with a TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm. The kit is reactive with rabbit and accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysates, and other biological fluids.

Reported performance figures include a sensitivity of 37.5 pg/mL and a detection range of 62.5-4000 pg/mL. Linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions is reported as 91-102%, 89-101% and 87-104% for serum; 90-101%, 82-100% and 87-99% for EDTA plasma; and 81-93%, 82-95% and 86-95% for heparin plasma. Recovery ranges are 85-102% for serum (average 92%), 85-98% for EDTA plasma (average 93%), and 88-104% for heparin plasma (average 93%).
