Rabbit bFGF/FGF2/Basic Fibroblast Growth Factor ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit uses a Double Antibody format with colorimetric detection read at 450 nm for quantitative measurement of basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF/FGF2) in rabbit samples. Compatible sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and kit components are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.

The assay delivers a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and a working range of 15.625–1000 pg/mL. Reported linearity (n=5) covers 87–96% / 85–97% / 82–99% for serum at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 dilutions, 85–100% / 84–96% / 83–100% for EDTA plasma, and 81–94% / 86–102% / 92–99% for heparin plasma. Recovery (n=5) averages 97% for serum (range 93–103%), 99% for EDTA plasma (range 87–104%), and 94% for heparin plasma (range 87–103%). The protocol includes primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotinylated detection antibody incubation for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin binding for 30 minutes, and TMB color development in the dark for 10–20 minutes.
