Rabbit Bcl-2 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is configured in a double-antibody format for the quantitative measurement of B-cell lymphoma 2 (Bcl-2) protein in rabbit samples. Reactivity is specific to rabbit, and the kit accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Detection is colorimetric, employing a TMB substrate with absorbance read at 450 nm.

The assay provides a sensitivity of 0.375 ng/mL and a working range of 0.625-40 ng/mL. Reported linearity for serum (n=5) spans 87-103%, 88-105%, and 90-105% at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions respectively; EDTA plasma (n=5) shows 85-100%, 83-97%, and 82-99%, while heparin plasma (n=5) gives 80-100%, 91-98%, and 80-100% across the same dilutions. Recovery averages 98% in serum (range 95-102%), 92% in EDTA plasma (range 87-98%), and 95% in heparin plasma (range 91-105%).

The protocol comprises a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, a 60-minute biotin-labeled detection antibody step, a 30-minute HRP-Streptavidin incubation, and 10-20 minutes of TMB color development in the dark. Supplied components include a dismountable ELISA microplate, lyophilized standard, 100X biotin-labeled antibody, 100X HRP-Streptavidin conjugate, TMB substrate, sample, antibody and SABC dilution buffers, stop solution, wash buffer, plate sealer, and a technical manual. Storage is at 2-8°C for 12 months.
