Built around an indirect HRP-based workflow, the Assay Genie Anti-KLH IgG ELISA Kit is a quantitative immunoassay for measuring rabbit IgG directed against keyhole limpet hemocyanin (KLH). Microplate wells are pre-coated with KLH, a high-molecular-weight respiratory protein from the marine mollusk Megathura crenulata that is widely used as a carrier in conjugate vaccine design and hapten-specific polyclonal antibody production.

When rabbit samples containing anti-KLH immunoglobulin are added, antibodies bind the immobilized antigen and are subsequently detected with a horseradish peroxidase-labeled secondary reagent, yielding an enzyme-mediated signal proportional to anti-KLH IgG levels in the sample. The indirect format makes this kit a practical tool for monitoring immune responses during polyclonal antibody generation, evaluating immunogenicity of KLH-conjugate vaccines, and tracking adjuvant performance in rabbit immunization studies. Validated sample matrices support serum-based work in routine titer determination protocols.

Each kit is configured for 96 Assays and is intended for in vitro research use only. Reagents are shipped for refrigerated storage and include the pre-coated plate, HRP-conjugated detection reagent, wash buffer, substrate, and standards used in the indirect protocol. Assay Genie supplies this kit for immunology, vaccine development, and antibody response characterization in rabbit models.
