Rabbit ANP/Atrial natriuretic peptide-converting enzyme ELISA Kit

A high-quality sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of atrial natriuretic peptide-converting enzyme (ANP) in rabbit samples. The double-antibody sandwich format with a colorimetric readout is designed for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell lysis buffer, tissue lysis buffer, and other biological fluid samples.

Reported performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and an assay range of 15.625-1000 pg/mL. Linearity in serum (n=5) was 87-101% (1:2), 94-98% (1:4) and 85-105% (1:8); EDTA plasma (n=5) gave 87-97%, 92-100% and 82-96%; heparin plasma (n=5) gave 85-100%, 82-100% and 80-99%. Recovery was 90-103% in serum (average 98%), 93-101% in EDTA plasma (average 98%) and 85-101% in heparin plasma (average 91%). Reagents are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

The assay is intended for applications exploring the role of ANP converting enzyme in cardiovascular function and related disorders, including hypertension, heart failure, and kidney disease, in rabbit models.
