The kit is validated for rabbit reactivity and accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Linearity was tested in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma (n=10) at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions: serum 90-105% / 82-99% / 81-99%, EDTA plasma 88-101% / 86-101% / 81-99%, and heparin plasma 86-100% / 88-97% / 80-97%. Recovery ranges with averages were 87-102% (94%) for serum, 88-102% (95%) for EDTA plasma, and 85-104% (94%) for heparin plasma.
