Rabbit ACE/Angiotensin Converting Enzyme 1 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of Angiotensin Converting Enzyme 1 (ACE) in rabbit samples. It uses a colorimetric detection method and a double-antibody sandwich format, with a reported sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and an assay range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. Reactivity is rabbit, and the kit has been validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Unopened kits are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

ACE is a key enzyme of the renin-angiotensin system, contributing to the regulation of blood pressure and fluid balance, and its dysregulation has been linked to cardiovascular and renal disease. The assay procedure involves equilibrating reagents to room temperature, loading standards, samples and controls onto the pre-coated plate for a primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, then adding a biotin-labeled detection antibody for 60 minutes, followed by HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) for 30 minutes, TMB substrate development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, stop solution, and immediate absorbance reading at 450 nm.

Reported linearity values include serum (n=5) at 92-103% (1:2), 87-100% (1:4) and 88-103% (1:8); EDTA plasma (n=5) at 83-97%, 88-98% and 83-100%; and heparin plasma (n=5) at 87-99%, 82-98% and 81-100%.
