QuickStep Rat E2 (Estradiol) ELISA Kit

A competitive ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of estradiol (E2) in rat serum, plasma, urine, and saliva. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and a QuickStep protocol with an assay time of 1.5h, and recognizes E2 in samples with no significant cross-reactivity or interference between E2 and analogues.

Reported performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 1.17 pg/mL and a measuring range of 3.13-200 pg/mL. Reproducibility is stated with both intra-assay and inter-assay CV below 10%. Reported recovery spans 80%-120%, with serum samples (n=8) showing a range of 92-103% and an average recovery of 97%, and EDTA plasma samples (n=8) showing a range of 86-99% and an average recovery of 91%.

It is recommended to perform the experiment with undiluted rat serum and plasma samples. An unopened kit can be stored at 2-8°C for 6 months, with unused wells and reagents stored according to the manual after testing.
