QuickStep Canine E2 (Estradiol) ELISA Kit

The QuickStep Canine E2 (Estradiol) ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is a competitive immunoassay developed to quantitatively determine estradiol levels in canine serum and plasma samples. The assay utilizes a competitive binding format in which sample estradiol competes with enzyme-labeled conjugate for limited antibody binding sites immobilized on the microplate. After incubation and washing, a chromogenic substrate is added and the reaction is stopped, producing a signal inversely proportional to estradiol concentration read on a standard plate reader.

The protocol requires a 50 µL sample volume per well and can be completed in approximately 2.5 hours. Kits should be refrigerated upon arrival and protected from light; reconstituted standards and conjugate should be aliquoted and frozen to minimize freeze-thaw cycles. All reagents are supplied in vials within a 96-well microplate pre-coated with the canine-specific capture antibody, with components intended for research use only in in vitro laboratory applications.
